Igor Bjorn Brezhnev is a poet, a multidisciplinary artist, a publisher, a book designer, and an aspiring woodworker among his other sins. Igor is an author of two full-length poetry collections and numerous chapbooks. He is a co-founder of Lightship Press, a small press in Portland, Oregon dedicated to publishing poetry. Igor also provides publishing services through his company Bearcat Books, including book design, typesetting and publishing consulting to independent authors of all genres. dearest void (2016)
dearest void is a first full length collection of poems and short prose by Igor Bjorn Brezhnev completed between the years of 2012 and 2016. Located somewhere between the mystical and the mundane, death and love, hope and despair, magic and reality, humanity and otherness. Dearest Void is a kind of travel diary with entries arranged not by date or place, but some arcane measure of encountered feeling. Published by Liquid Gravity Publishing in Phoenix, Arizona (ISBN: 978-0971650213). Currently out of print.
nights since project (2019-2020)
nights since is a poetry project by Igor Bjorn Brezhnev written between January of 2019 and January of 2020. During this time Igor wrote a poem every night with the intent to document the emotional landscape of being without a home. The poems are presented unedited, as they were written on those nights, kept intact and raw to emphasize the urgency of writing without the luxury of hindsight available to the settled. There are eleven volumes in total, each containing 33 poems. The first 6 volumes have been published as chapbooks between 2019 and 2022. Volume 1 is currently out of print, Volumes 2-6 are available to purchase on this website and in bookstores in Portland, Oregon. A collection of all volumes is planned to be released through Bearcat Books in 2025.

the book of possibilities is a free digital chapbook published by Igor Bjorn Brezhnev in 2012. It contained poems written between 2006 and 2012. The book was downloaded over 10,000 times. Currently unavailable for download pending second edition to be published by Bearcat Books.
